Today, we’re excited to introduce Yasmin, our talented Project and Operations Manager, who’s been basking under the Spanish sun. Let’s dive into her exciting journey and discover the many benefits of working remotely and exploring new horizons.
But first, let’s get to know Yasmin a little better.
Q: What motivated you to work remotely from Spain, and how has this experience impacted your work life?
“I decided to go for Spain since I had a great time visiting here during a short remote working trip. I quickly felt that the quality of life here was a better match to me personally and something I would like to explore. I highly enjoy the blue skies and beautiful scenery of the city of Valencia. And now live nearby the park which is great for a run or walk.”
Q: Can you share a memorable cultural experience or discovery that has had a positive impact on you?
“Something I’ve been enjoying seeing so far is people having dinner with friends and families on terraces out in the streets. Spending time together talking (also no phones in sight – something small to appreciate).”
Q: Can you share the part of your job you enjoy the most?
“That I get to help others with their needs. The most fun part is working with so many different people. Everyone requires a slightly different approach, and I enjoy figuring out theirs so we can collaborate efficiently.”
As Yasmin shares, “It’s been a true blessing to live and work in Spain. I’m living the dream with just my laptop and good Wi-Fi.” She adds, “Seeing many people come out into the streets to celebrate with fireworks (Castilla – a castle of fireworks) is one of the most beautiful things I’ve seen.”
